Description: Tinder has purchased contact management app Humin of San Francisco for an undisclosed amount. Tinder Chief Executive Sean Rad has talked for years of building a professional networking app using Tinder’s swipe-to-connect feature. Humin’s platform, which helps people manage their social and professional contacts, could aid those ambitions. Humin Chief Executive Ankur Jain will join Tinder as vice president of product and Chief Operating Officer David Wyler will become vice president of partnerships. The two executives will lead new product development initiatives that will incorporate Humin’s intellectual property.
