Los Angeles Times Cited by Google for ‘Annoying’ Ads
Tronc-owned Los Angeles Times was cited as a website with “annoying” advertisements by a Google report, reports Ad Age. The website is one of roughly a thousand online publishers that are set to receive an email from Google warning them that they are showing “highly annoying, misleading or harmful” ads. The notice is intended to give the publishers a chance to change their ad formats ahead of Google’s plans to block “annoying” ads in its popular Chrome browser starting early next year.
