Multichannel network and digital media company Fullscreen has established its sales headquarters in its New York office with two executive hires there.
Fullscreen is still headquartered in Culver City, and employees in that office won’t be relocating. The company’s New York office, which is not expected to expand its 30-person team, already primarily served a sales function. The move allows Fullscreen to bolster its East Coast presence. The company also has offices in Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Atlanta.
Kevin McGurn joins as head of sales for Fullscreen and all of its properties. McGurn, previously chief revenue officer at Shazam, will also oversee sales for parent company Otter Media and its portfolio properties, including Crunchyroll, SoompiTV and CreativeBug.
Maureen Polo has been named as Fullscreen’s general manager to lead its integrated marketing initiatives. She last worked as director of business development for Hearst Integrated Media.
“Fullscreen launched four years ago in L.A. with a mission to empower this new generation of creators,” Chief Executive George Strompolos said in a statement. “We’ve seen great success in connecting these highly influential creators with Madison Avenue, and as a leader in integrated marketing, we recognized the clear opportunity to scale our New York presence.”
Fullscreen’s YouTube network has 500 million subscribers and brings in 5 billion views a month. Fullscreen was acquired in September for an estimated $200 million to $300 million by Otter Media, a joint venture of AT&T and the Chernin Group.
