EV Connect, a management software company for commercial and governmental electric vehicle charging stations, announced Thursday that Scott Jarus has been appointed as the company’s new chief executive.
Jarus is also an investor and member of the board.
He was most recently the chairman and chief executive of Ironclad Performance Wear, a microcap public company which grew 90 percent to become sustainably profitable. He became Ironclad’s chief executive in 2009 and was charged with turning around the ailing work glove maker. He resigned in September, saying “it was time to turn the company over to someone with relevant experience within Ironclad’s market segments.”
In a statement, Jarus said, “As the electric vehicle industry as whole, evolves and grows, the unique capabilities of companies, like EV Connect, to shape the marketplace are enormous.”
