The expansion of streaming services has increased the already insatiable demand for studio space locally. L.A. is the global leader in soundstage capacity with 5.4 million square feet of stage space spread across 57 facilities, according to FilmLA. But some feel that soundstages in L.A. are underbuilt and more infrastructure is needed for additional stages.
