President of Business Operations, Los Angeles Clippers
The point person in the franchise’s Inglewood Basketball and Entertainment Center/Intuit Dome, scheduled to open next year, Zucker also remains in motion with her operations duties. As the only female team president in the league, Zucker has been a key voice in crafting the Clippers’ style of branding, including a desire to be known as the NBA team from “L.A.” — instead of the full name spelled out — to create a distinction from the Lakers. She was the first major hire by team owner Steve Ballmer after he bought the team in 2014. Zucker, 53, was named the L.A. Business Journal Women’s Council Enterprise Executive of the Year in 2018.
