Owner, Gilmore Associates

Gilmore and his business partner Jerri Perrone launched Gilmore Associates in 1998. The company develops residential and commercial real estate. Gilmore was an early player in the redevelopment of downtown’s historic core area, building more than 200 rental lofts and 266 condos. Some of Gilmore’s notable downtown endeavors include Old Bank District Project. Gilmore also redeveloped the former St. Vibiana’s Cathedral into a performing arts center, restaurant and event facility. His latest effort is as founding partner of Urban Awnings LP, a low-cost housing model making its debut this year. He serves as chair of Sister Cities of Los Angeles and on the board of Pasadena’s ArtCenter College of Design.
