Schwimmer is as the co-chief executive of Brentwood-based Rexford Industrial Realty Inc. The public company owns 45 million square feet of Southern California industrial real estate. The company last year acquired 52 properties for $2.4 billion. Schwimmer has four decades of experience. He was previously the co-founder and senior managing partner of Rexford’s predecessor and president of Rexford Industrial Realty and Management Inc. Schwimmer also held positions at Daum Commercial Real Estate. He is on the Leadership Council at the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate, serves on the board of USC Hillel and chairs the Real Estate Principals Organization at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
