Goldstein and Drew Planting co-founded Brentwood-based GPI Cos. in 2008. The company recently opened the mixed-use development 9001 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. Other projects include a 26-story apartment tower at the former Amoeba Music site in Hollywood and the conversion of a former Macy’s store in Rancho Park into offices. Goldstein previously helped lead the retail division of J.H. Snyder Co., where he worked on the River in Rancho Mirage, West Hollywood Gateway, the iconic Wilshire Courtyard in Miracle Mile and Water Garden office campus in Santa Monica. Goldstein, a USC alum, is a past chair of the American Jewish Committee Los Angeles.
