Founder, President, Chief Executive, TruAmerica Multifamily

Hart founded Century City-based multifamily investment firm TruAmerica Multifamily in 2013. The company, which has offices in Virginia, Florida, Washington and Texas, specializes in repositioning Class B, garden-style and midrise apartment buildings to create higher returns. It currently has a $16.5 billion portfolio of more than 60,000 multifamily units. In 2021, the company closed on its first discretionary fund with $575 million in equity commitments. Prior to founding TruAmerica, Hart was chief executive of Kennedy Wilson Multifamily Management Group. In 2022, Hart received the Los Angeles Outstanding Philanthropist Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals and was the Jewish Federation of Greater L.A.’s 2023 Real Estate and Construction Network Dinner honoree.
