Chief Executive, Bad Robot Productions
Hollywood creative multihyphenate J. J. Abrams launched a live theater division in March reaching for the Great White Way via a three-year partnership with Broadway’s powerful Ambassador Theatre Group. Abram’s content-creation company, Bad Robot Productions, has on-screen credits for “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker,” which Abram directed and co-wrote, and his big-budget HBO Max TV series “Westworld,” which ended a four-season run in August. Last year, Abrams and Bad Robot announced a theatrical film based on Mattel’s Hot Wheels toy property for Warner Bros. Pictures. Founded in in 2001, Bad Robot is based in Santa Monica.
