Lu co-founded GOAT Group with Daishin Sugano in 2015. The online marketplace for buying and selling authenticated merchandise has since raised $492 million in venture capital, amassed over 50 million members, and operates 23 global facilities. Lu holds a B.A. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and was part of Y Combinator’s Winter class of 2011. In 2007, he left his corporate career at Lehman Brothers to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions and worked on various gaming apps, specialty food franchises and social dining app GrubWithUs.
