Hodgdon founded the downtown-based maker of hair-wellness products for women in 2016 with $250,000 in savings and help from family and friends. The company posted $3 million in revenue in 2019 and scaled to $140 million in 2022. Prior to Vegamour, Hodgdon served as chief executive of Marula by John Paul Selects. He was also involved in several entrepreneurial ventures, including a line of natural spa products, Akhassa Bath & Beauty; London-based production company Church & State Theatricals; and a web -evelopment agency Vioclicks, Inc. He graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in biology.
