Priselac joined Cedars-Sinai in 1979, becoming chief executive in 1994. He helped grow the flagship Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Grove into the largest hospital complex west of the Mississippi River. Cedars has expanded further in recent years, buying the 133-bed Marina del Rey Hospital, creating a joint venture with the Providence Tarzana Medical Center and forming affiliations with the 640-bed Torrance Memorial Medical Center and the 360-bed Huntington Health.
