Hanners was appointed chief executive of Keck Medicine of USC and president and CEO of USC Health System in September 2021. He is responsible for oversight of USC’s clinical activities, including USC Care Medical Group; Keck Medical Center, which includes Keck Hospital and USC Norris Cancer Hospital; USC Verdugo Hills Hospital; USC Arcadia Hospital; and more than 67 outpatient clinics from Bakersfield to Newport Beach and other clinical practices and joint ventures throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties. Prior to joining Keck Medicine, Hanners was senior vice president and chief operating officer for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
