Chair and Chief Executive, Capital Group Cos. Inc.

Armour has been chair of Capital Group since 2015. Previously, Armour
was an investment analyst at Capital Group, focusing on global
telecommunications and U.S. service companies. He began his career
at Capital Group 40 years ago when he participated in the firm’s
associates program. Armour holds a bachelor’s degree in economics
from Middlebury College. Capital has more than 8,000 associates in
32 offices around the world. Armour announced in January that he
will retire at the end of this year. Mike Gitlin, who is currently Capital’s
head of fixed income, will step in as CEO.
