Avante is a private credit and structured equity fund. Under Harman’s
leadership, Avante launched the Womens Operating Network initiative.
WON is a database of experienced, board-ready women executives
whom Avante is introducing to private equity funds for potential board
and advisory roles. WON aims to help women access private equity
board opportunities and help private equity funds access diverse
board talent. Avante deployed close to $100 million last year. In March
2022, the National Association of Investment Cos. recognized Harman
during Women’s History Month for her leadership and contribution to
NAIC and the asset management industry.
