Los Angeles Community College District, Chancellor
Rodriguez assumed the post of chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District in 2014, the largest such district in the nation with nine colleges, 200,000 students, and a $5.8 billion budget. Rodriguez successfully led the recent $5.3 billion local bond measure for immediate infrastructure repair, technology upgrades and classroom improvements at all nine colleges. Prior to leading the LACCD, Rodriguez served as president at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento and as superintendent/president of the Mira Costa Community College District in northern San Diego County.
