AC Martin recently expanded to Northern California and design work is underway at West L.A. Commons, a redevelopment of the West Los Angeles Civic Center. The firm is also designing the Arts District Center, a 12-story mixed-use development that consists of a 129-unit condo tower, a 113-room boutique hotel, and 70,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The firm continues work at Los Angeles International Airport on the consolidated rental car complex. Christopher Martin is the third generation of the Martin family to helm the company since its founding in 1906; he joined the firm in 1970. Martin serves on the board of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
