Freedman is founding principal of Intrepid Investment Bankers, which
provides mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory
services. During his four decades in investment banking and
corporate finance he has served as principal financial adviser on hundreds
of capital raisings and M&A deals ranging in value from $20
million to more than $1 billion. In 1982, Freedman founded Barrington
Associates, which was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2006. Freedman
serves on various boards, including the UCLA-Jonsson Comprehensive
Cancer Center, the Yosemite Conservancy and the Concern Foundation
for Cancer Research.
