Liu joined Cathay Bank in 2014 and held various positions, including
chief lending officer and chief operating officer, before becoming CEO
and a director. He also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of San
Francisco-Los Angeles Regional Board, the Federal Home Loan Bank
of San Francisco as a California member director, the Western Bankers
Association board and the board of advisors for the UCLA Anderson
Forecast. Liu is a member of the American Cancer Society’s CEOs
Against Cancer.
