Founding Chairman, Petersen Automotive Museum Foundation

Beverly Hills real estate investor Meyer teamed with Robert E. Petersen,
founder of Petersen Publishing, to create the Petersen Automotive
Museum in 1994. The museum underwent a 13-month, $100 million
renovation in 2015, and its distinctive design made it a signature building
on the Miracle Mile. In the late 1960s, Meyer joined his family business,
Gearys Beverly Hills, changing the focus to luxury goods and expanding
into the mail order business. Meyer, well known among car enthusiasts,
is on the boards of the Henry Ford Museum and Saint John’s Health
Center Foundation and is a founding board member and past president
of the CHP 11-99 Foundation.
