Hegarty has been with Marsh & McLennan since 2008. As a principal and managing director of the company’s Los Angeles office, he has overseen the firm’s rapid growth here. Hegarty specializes in employee benefits programs for mid-size to large companies. He works with clients to build employee benefits programs focused on improving the employee experience and driving retention and recruiting efforts.
Over the years, he has worked with such industries as apparel, entertainment, hospitality, manufacturing, and technology. He was instrumental in developing the company’s technology trust called Benefits Tech Trust. The program is a Department of Labor-qualified small business trust designed to serve emerging technology organizations.
