Amazon.com Inc.-owned Ring is one of the most visible brands in the home security business, with its signature doorbell cameras and a steady stream of new product offerings. Siminoff founded Ring in 2012 and stayed on with the company in the role of chief inventor following its 2018 acquisition. In September, Siminoff announced a new generation of Ring devices, including a new alarm system and a flying camera system capable of recording activity in multiple parts of customer’s home. Before launching Ring, Siminoff founded and sold voice-to-text startup PhoneTag and email filtering service Unsubscribe.
