Co-Founder and Principal, CIM Group

Richard Ressler, along with Avi Shemesh and Shaul Kuba, co-founded CIM Group in 1994. Ressler is the chair of CIM’s Executive, Investment, Allocation and Real Assets Management committees and serves on the firm’s Credit Committee. To date the company has developed more than $60 billion of commercial real estate and infrastructure projects. Prior to founding CIM, Ressler founded investment firm Orchard Capital Corp. in 1993. He previously served as vice chairman at Brooke Group Ltd., an investment banker at Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. and an attorney at Cravath Swaine and Moore. Ressler also serves on the boards of CIM Commercial Trust Corp. and Ziff Davis.
