John McMillan is a vice chairman at Newmark Group, Inc. and an industrial real estate expert. For the last 31 years, he has been an industrial real estate services broker in L.A. He’s had a busy few years, transacting on 10.5 million square feet and 93 acres of land in the last 18 months. He works on everything from site acquisitions to lease negotiations to landlord representation. He joined Newmark in 2016 after 24 years at Cushman and Wakefield Inc. Since joining Newmark, McMillan has consistently been a top five industrial broker. McMillan earned his bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and attended Loyola High School and is involved with groups including the NAIOP, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the American Industrial Real Estate Association.
