Co-Chief Executive, Rexford Industrial Realty Inc.
Howard Schwimmer and Michael Frankel are the co-chief executives of Brentwood-based Rexford Industrial Realty Inc. The company has been on a rapid growth trajectory and in 2021, the company acquired 53 properties for $1.9 billion and sold five properties for $59.3 million, up from $1.2 billion worth of acquisitions the year before. Schwimmer has nearly four decades of experience and was previously the co-founder and senior managing partner of Rexford’s predecessor and president of Rexford Industrial Realty and Management Inc. Before that, Schwimmer held roles at DAUM Commercial Real Estate. He is on the USC Lusk Center Real Estate Leadership Council and is a board member of USC Hillel.
