Drew Planting and Cliff Goldstein co-founded Brentwood-based GPI Cos. in 2008. Its current pipeline includes 9001 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood, a mixed-use project at the former Amoeba Records site in Hollywood, and West End, a former Macy’s store at the Westside Pavilion. Planting was formerly a senior partner at J.H. Snyder Co., developer Jerry Snyder’s firm, where he created and led the company’s value-add acquisitions division. Prior to joining the J.H. Snyder Co., Planting was a partner at Maguire Partners, during which time he led the development, leasing and management of a 3.6 million square foot area of Playa Vista. Prior to that, he was a director at brokerage Cushman and Wakefield Inc.
