Sokoloff is a managing partner of Leonard Green & Partners L.P. LGP is a leading private equity investment firm with more than $75 billion of assets under management. Sokoloff also serves as a trustee of Williams College and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. LGP partners with management teams, and often with founders, to invest in market-leading companies. In September, Leonard Green & Partners participated in a $75 million Series B round for France-based biotech startup TreeFrog Therapeutics. A month later, LGP gave more than $2 billion in profits to employees of companies within its portfolio.
