Munger exited his longtime role as chairman of newspaper publisher and software provider Daily Journal Corp. in March. Munger, 98 years old, intends to remain a director and allocate time toward the company’s securities portfolio after serving as chairman for the company since 1977. Munger announced that he was donating $1 million of Daily Journal stock to fund an equity incentive plan at the company. In addition to his role as vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway since 1978, Munger is a director of Costco Wholesale Corp. Munger is still very active in the finance and investing space.
