Dean, Marshall School of Business, USC

Garrett became the 18th dean of the USC Marshall School of Business in September 2020. In March, U.S. News & World Report ranked Marshall No. 19 on its list of top business schools, down three spots from last year. Last July, the Marshall School announced a $20 million gift to bolster its global supply chain management program. Prior to becoming USC Marshall dean, Garrett served six years as dean of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. A native of Australia and a Fulbright Scholar, Garrett was founding chief executive of the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney. He also was dean of the UCLA International Institute.
