Chief Executive, Southern California Gas Co.

Drury was named chief executive of SoCalGas in June 2020. In March of last year, the company announced a plan to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. The move makes SoCalGas, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, the largest gas distributions utility in North America to set a net zero target. Before becoming CEO of SoCalGas, Drury was the president of San Diego Gas & Electric. Under his leadership, SDG&E made significant strides in modernizing the energy grid to enhance safety and reliability. Drury joined Sempra Energy in 1986 and has held various management positions. He serves on the board of the American Gas Association.
