Flynn first joined BBVA in 2017 and a year later was appointed as its Los Angeles city president. Since the elevation, Flynn has worked to significantly grow the bank’s presence, building a team of experienced bankers along with its portfolio. Before joining BBVA, he spent his more than 30-year career in finance working for outfits such as Union Bank, Credit Suisse First Boston and Bank of Montreal. A licensed securities broker, Flynn received a finance and economics degree from Rice University. He is active in local volunteerism and works with a number of organizations.
