Ng has led East West Bank’s transformation from a savings and loan association with $600 million in assets to a full-service commercial bank with more than $62 billion in assets. Bank Director magazine ranked East West Bank the No.1 Performing Bank in 2021 and as the bank with the Best Board in 2022. Under his 30-year leadership, today’s East West Bank is a publicly traded institution and the largest independent bank headquartered in Southern California. Ng serves on the boards of Mattel Inc., USC and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
