Milken chairs the Milken Family Foundation, which he co-founded with his brother, Michael Milken. He also chairs the London-based Heron International Ltd., a property development and investment company. And he chairs National Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust which is the largest owner of early childhood education centers in the nation. A leading voice in education reform, Milken also established and chairs the nonprofit National Institute for Excellence in Teaching, which has impacted over 300,000 educators and 3 million students nationwide. Milken received his law degree from UCLA, following undergraduate business studies at UC Berkeley.
