The plush furnishings of the Hotel Bel-Air, which is undergoing a top-to-bottom renovation, will be offered up to the public Thursday in a liquidation sale.
NCL/National Content Liquidators is holding the sale for the hospitality industry and public starting 10 a.m. at a former Circuit City store at 1251 Fourth St. in Santa Monica. It will run through Sunday.
The inventory runs the gamut from guestroom, dining room and lobby furnishings to 42” flat screen TV’s and mini-bars. Some of the furnishing are said to have been used by Hollywood movie stars and visiting royalty.
The 92-room landmark, which opened in 1946, closed Sept. 30 for a makeover. The hotel is scheduled to reopen after two years.
