J.H. Cohn LLP and Reznick Group P.C., two national accounting firms with Los Angeles offices, said on Tuesday that they will merge. The deal is expected to create the nation’s 11th largest accounting firm.
J.H. Cohn, which is based in Roseland, N.J., has offices in West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills. Reznick, which is based in Bethesda, Md., has a Century City office. The combined firms will employee more than 2,000 workers in 25 offices and have combined revenues of more than $445 million, they said.
The merger is expected to take effect in September.
