Wayne, N. J.-based national toy retailer Toys R Us plans to close four Los Angeles County stores as part of its effort to restructure in the wake of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in September, according to a bankruptcy document filed Tuesday, Jan. 23.
The company aims to close 185 stores in total. The L.A. locations include Covina, Puente Hills, Santa Clarita and Torrance. Other Southern California closings include locations in Orange, Riverside and Ventura counties.
