Black Tux to Open Showrooms in Six Nordstrom Stores

Online tux rental service Black Tux plans to open six showrooms inside Nordstrom department stores, starting with a location in Mission Viejo.

The Santa Monica startup will expand to additional Nordstrom stores if the first six locations prove successful, reports Recode. The department store showrooms are in addition to five standalone showrooms across the U.S. that Black Tux has opened.

Shoppers can have their measurements taken and try on Black Tux’s suits in its Nordstrom locations. The locations will have limited showroom inventory, so customer rentals will be delivered to their homes.

Since the online tux rental service was founded in 2012, it has raised more than $35 million in venture capital. The company makes its own suits which it rent for at least $95.
