Jerry Zucker, who directed the Best Picture-nominated movie “Ghost,” among others, has plans to sell his six-bedroom, 12-bathroom family home in Brentwood for $15.48 million, according to real estate agency Halton Pardee + Partners.

The 1939 home was designed by renowned Angeleno architect John Byers and has 10,000 square feet of living area on 1.6-acre lot.

Justin Alexander from Halton Pardee + Partners has the listing. He said about 70 people went to the home’s first showing and anticipates it will sell quickly.

“I think we’ll probably have someone who is in entertainment or someone who just likes the setting,” said Alexander. “It doesn’t feel like L.A. – it’s kind of a country setting in the middle of Brentwood, so it’s going to appeal to people who like the East Coast and also people who are architecture buffs.”
