Atlas Capital Group, a New York-based real estate investment firm, has purchased Insite, a two-building, 102,000-square-foot office campus at 2030 E. Maple Ave. in El Segundo for $39 million from SteelWave, a property firm from Foster City, Calif.
The NKF Capital Markets team of Kevin Shannon, Ken White, Mike Moll, Rob Hannan and Laura Stumm represented SteelWave. Mike Condon, Jr., Kelli Snyder, Brianna Demus, and Erica Finck of Cushman & Wakefield represented Atlas in the sale. They, along with Tom Sheets, Chris Sinfield, and Quint Carroll, also of Cushman & Wakefield, will handle leasing for the property.
SteelWave bought the property – a former Raytheon Co. facility – in 2015 as part of a joint venture with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and renovated it into a creative office with an industrial feel, according to an NKF Capital Markets statement.
The property is located blocks from the 105 freeway, Los Angeles International Airport and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority Green Line.
