A new 61-unit apartment project being developed by Beverly Hills-based Bolour Associates Inc. is coming to East Hollywood.
Located at 4800 W. Melrose Ave. in East Hollywood’s Melrose Hill neighborhood, the residential complex will be a seven-story building featuring studios and one-bedroom apartment units along with ground-level retail space facing the corner of Melrose Avenue and Harvard Boulevard.
“Melrose Hill is an up-and-coming Los Angeles neighborhood,” Mark Bolour, chief executive of Bolour, said in a statement. “We are pleased to add to that momentum in a community where expanding dining, entertainment and employment options only continue to increase the area’s desirability and value.”
The development will also include three levels of parking, made up of two levels of above-grade parking and one level of below-grade parking. Planned project amenities include a gym, a common area courtyard and a rooftop deck with seating areas and barbecues.
AFCO Design Inc. is serving as the project’s executive architect while its design architect is 64North.
In addition to the Melrose Hill apartment, Bolour has numerous local multifamily developments now in the planning stages. Earlier this year, the company secured entitlements for an 86-unit apartment complex in Echo Park as well as a 30-unit smaller project in Rancho Park.
Bolour Associates specializes in adding value to a wide class of asset types in emerging and transit-oriented neighborhoods. The company is currently active in 16 states beyond California.
