New Digs: Carl Terzian Associates, a PR services firm that has been based in West Los Angeles for 24 years, has moved to a new headquarters in Westwood. The new address is Westwood Place building at 10866 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 750.

WEST L.A.

Pumped Up: Petroleum Capital Advisers, an advisory firm specializing in assisting lenders and note buyers of distressed gas station/convenience store loans, has opened in West Los Angeles. The new firm, at 12121 Wilshire Blvd., was co-founded by Stephen J. Donell, Matthew S. Meza and Scott L. Olson, who have almost 100 years combined experience in receivership, real estate brokerage and legal transactions.

LA CRESCENTA

Computer Links: BIS Computer Solutions Inc., a La Crescenta supplier of information technology software, has acquired ResultWorx Technology Group Inc., a Pasadena tech firm that contracts with small to medium-size businesses. BIS’ pickup of ResultWorx will allow it to offer that company’s recovery tools to its clients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

GLENDALE

Building Acquisition: Morv Investment has purchased a Glendale office building for about $3.45 million from Barger Investments LLC. The 13,962-square-foot property, built in 1982 and known as the Whitestone Professional Building, is at 144 N. Glendale Ave.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

Moving Up: The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp., a non-profit that serves as the region’s chief economic development organization, has switched the floors of its downtown L.A. headquarters. The LAEDC has moved up from the 34th to the 37th floor at 444 S. Flower St.

Aloha: Aecom Technology Corp., a

downtown L.A.-based engineering services giant, has been awarded a $38.8 million contract to design the airport segment of the Honolulu Rail Transport Project in Hawaii. Aecom is working with the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, the city and county of Honolulu, and state Department of Transportation. The company will design a 5.2 mile portion of the elevated rail guideway from Honolulu’s Aloha Stadium to the Middle Street Transit Center in Kalihi.

VAN NUYS

Shot in Arm: Van Nuys’ Valley Presbyterian Hospital has received a $30,000 grant from the S. Mark Taper Foundation for the hospital’s stroke center. The S. Mark Taper Foundation is a private family foundation based in Brentwood that supports the work of non-profit organizations in Southern California.

CORRECTIONS

The Done Deals section in the Jan. 30 edition listed incorrect sales prices for multiple office, industrial and multifamily properties. Also, names of the sellers and seller brokers were incorrect for several retail sales. The errors were not caused by the data provider. The corrected version of the entire Done Deals section is published on pages 28 and 29.

An article headlined “Developer Had Vision of Miracle Mile’s Renewal” in the Jan. 23 edition incorrectly stated how much it cost to renovate a high-rise at 5900 Wilshire Blvd. Developer Wayne Ratkovich spent $34 million.
