CORRECTION
An article in the Jan. 2 issue headlined “Agency Had Write Stuff in Suit Over Pen Contest,” which reported that a small L.A. ad agency won a lawsuit against Pentel of America, should have said that the Concept Chaser agency contended that the agreement called for payment of $5,000 for a presentation, not for developing the ideas. Also, the article should have said that it was the agency’s contention that Pentel claimed it didn’t have a budget for the proposal, and that Pentel disputed that contention. Finally, the article should have said that attorney Grant Nigolian filed a motion to disqualify Judge Mark Mooney based upon an appearance of bias.
