Mitchell Julius is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University (BA, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa), Harvard Law School (JD, magna cum laude), and Harvard Business School (MBA, honors). Prior to forming Canyon, he directed a group of professionals responsible for a portfolio of distressed and special situation securities at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Prior to Drexel, he was a bankruptcy and creditors’ rights attorney at Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz in New York.
