Prior to joining Rustic Canyon in 2005, David Travers served as executive assistant to the national security adviser in the White House and was awarded the secretary of defense’s award for outstanding public service. Previously, he worked on corporate strategy at Walt Disney Co. and helped launch Disney’s credit card business. Travers is also chief financial officer for ZipRecruiter and managing partner for BasePoint Ventures. He loves sports and his favorite activities include going to yoga class with his wife, playing at the park with his kids, and working to support LA’s Best after-school program. Travers earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University.
