Ted Tanner

Ted Tanner joined AEG in 1998 and oversees its real estate development activities in Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Asia, and Brazil. He brings more than 35 years of development experience in downtown Los Angeles as well as 10 prior years as an L.A. architect and Philadelphia city planner. Tanner was responsible for acquiring, entitling, and master planning the 40 acres surrounding Staples Center and oversaw development of LA Live. His team completed the $1 billion, 54-story 1,001-room JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels. Tanner also oversaw development of AEG’s 125-acre StubHub Center, Best Buy Theater Times Square in New York, and formulated plans for soccer stadiums in Illinois and New Jersey.
