Renata Simril
Chief Executive, LA84 Foundation
Renata Simril is chief executive of the LA84 Foundation, a leader in support of youth sport programs and public education. She most recently served as senior vice president and chief of staff to the publisher of the Los Angeles Times, where she oversaw staff operations and special projects. Her earlier career includes three seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers as senior vice president of external affairs, and over a decade in real estate development with Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., Forest City Development, and LCOR Inc. She was deputy mayor for economic development and housing in the James Hahn administration. Simril began her career as a military police officer. She serves on the boards of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, LA 2024 Olympic Bid Committee, Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, and Loyola Marymount University.
