John Barrett is resident managing director overseeing the L.A., Irvine, and San Diego offices of Aon Corp. Los Angeles is Aon’s third-largest office, employs more than 300 people, and is the hub for Western region activities. Prior to joining Aon in 2006, Barrett spent five years at Johnson & Higgins and 16 years with Marsh Inc. He has held positions on numerous boards and is president of the California Club and president of the Advisory Board for the USC Risk Management Program, and is on the executive committee for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce.
