Charles T. Munger

Chairman, Daily Journal Corp., Vice Chairman, Berkshire Hathaway

Best known as vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Charles Munger is also chairman of Daily Journal Corp., which owns newspapers targeted at the legal industry. Its largest publications are the Los Angeles Daily Journal and San Francisco Daily Journal. The company also owns Journal Technologies. Before becoming the right-hand man of Warren Buffett, Munger served as chairman of Wesco Financial Corp. from 1984 through 2011. He is also a director of Costco Wholesale Corp. Munger has given large philanthropic gifts to the University of Michigan and UC Santa Barbara.
